Serialized Data Tree Viewer & Editor

Paste a PHP serialize() value — a WordPress wp_options blob, a widget or theme-mod setting — to browse it as a tree. Edit values inline or delete entries, and copy valid serialized output back with byte-lengths recomputed. Everything runs in your browser.

What it does

PHP serialize() packs arrays and scalars into a compact string where every text value is prefixed with its length in bytes. That's efficient but painful to read or edit by hand — one wrong length and the whole value stops unserializing. This tool decodes the blob into a tree you can read at a glance, lets you change values or remove entries, and rebuilds a valid serialized string with all the lengths recomputed for you.

Editing

Click into any value to change it: strings are free text, integers and floats take a number, booleans switch between true and false. The ✕ next to an array entry removes it. The Serialized output box updates as you go — copy it straight into your database or wp-config edit. Array keys are shown but not editable here; to restructure keys, use Serialized ↔ JSON.

Limits

It reads arrays and scalars (strings, integers, floats, booleans, null) — the shapes WordPress options use. Serialized PHP objects (O:) aren't supported. To change a URL or domain across a value, use Serialized Search-Replace; to repair a blob whose lengths are already broken, use Fix Serialized Data.

Privacy

Decoding, editing and re-serializing all happen in your browser — nothing you paste is uploaded.
